Vocalize & warm up before you arrive.  We will do a group warmup, but please do your own vocal warmups before you leave home so your voice is in tip top shape.

Tickets: Tickets are available on this page: https://www.sarahhawkeystudio.com/recital/.  Please invite anyone you’d like, this event is open to everyone in our community! ALL ARE WELCOME!  All attendees need a ticket but performers do not.  Please consider contributing on that page to help us with production costs, thank you for your generosity!

Where: Parish Hall at Norfield Congregational Church on the same campus where you have lessons.  The Parish Hall is the first building on your right as you loop around the parking lot.  It has large white columns.

Dress Code: Fun, expressive, dressy vibe.  Prom dress is too fancy, cuttoff jeans are too casual, a spruce of your character is welcome, or you can full-on dress as your character if the spirit moved you!  Sequins/fringe okay (at all times in my opinion.)  You’ll have time to change into your nice clothes beforehand if you want to travel/eat in something else.  Don’t eat or mess around in your performance attire!

Photographer: A photographer (who also happens to be the dad of one of our singers!) will be taking pictures of the entire event, including “backstage.”  I plan to use the pictures on our website (the site you’re on now) when it gets a big update this summer.  If your child is in photos I want to use here I’ll reach out to ask you to sign a permission slip.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

We still need a couple of volunteers to help with reception & chair setup. I’m so grateful for all of you who are volunteering!  It will make is so special.

WHAT TO BRING:

Everyone please bring something to share with the group at the reception.

This section is for the few singers I’ve asked to do mock lessons for photos.  If you aren’t one of these singers, you can skip this section of the info page. 

Where: In our studio space (the exact place where you have your lessons).

Please come in street clothes that you feel good about taking professional photos in that’ll be used on this website.  Don’t come in your performance attire, you can change into your performance outfit after the shoot.  

Be on time (like you all always are!) because this shoot will move fast. 

Parents: I’ll have paper permission slips for you to sign when you get here.
